This policy covers Healthy Faith: Bible Study, published by Hardaway Labs LLC on the App Store and Google Play. It describes this app only. Other Hardaway Labs apps have their own policies.
The short version
You can read the entire Bible, study any word, and write in the journal without an account and without sending us anything. Your prayer journal never leaves your phone. Sermon audio never leaves your phone. The only things that reach our servers are the requests you deliberately make — asking a question, playing narration, importing a sermon — and anonymous usage analytics.
1 What stays on your device and is never uploaded
These are stored in the app’s private storage on your phone. There is no server copy, so we cannot read them, hand them over, or lose them in a breach.

Microphone. The app asks for microphone permission so it can transcribe a sermon while you listen to it. Transcription runs on your device. The audio is never uploaded.
2 What we receive, and only when you ask for it

3 Accounts
Healthy Faith works fully without an account. Reading, listening, word study, guided paths and the journal all work signed out, and there is no login wall — there never will be one.
If you choose to sign in (with Apple, or with an email address), we store:

Your journal still stays on your phone. Backing it up is a separate switch in Settings that is off by default. Until you turn it on, nothing you write in the journal ever leaves the device. If you do turn it on, entries are stored against your account so they reach your other devices, and only you can read them.
Study circles
A circle is a small private group reading a plan together. If you join one, the other members can see your display name and the messages you post there. Circles are invite-only — there is no public directory and no way to find a circle you weren't given a code for.
Messages are checked automatically for abusive content before they are posted. You can report any message and block any person from inside the app; we review reports within 24 hours, and a message reported by two people is hidden automatically while we look at it.
4 Analytics and diagnostics
We measure how the app is used so we can fix what is broken and build what people actually open. This is anonymous and pseudonymous: an app-generated random identifier, never your name or email.
We never put your content into an analytics event. No verse text, no prayer text, no question text, no sermon text. Events carry references, counts, and categories — for example “a chapter was opened” or “a question failed” — never what you wrote or read.
You can turn analytics off in Settings → Privacy. When you do, the app stops sending events and clears its analytics identity.
5 Companies that process data for us
We use these providers strictly to deliver the features above. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

6 How long we keep things

7 Your choices and your rights
Delete everything on this device. Settings → Privacy → Delete my data erases the journal, sermons, highlights, bookmarks, reading history, and challenge progress from your phone, and resets your analytics identity.
Delete what we hold. See the Healthy Faith account & data deletion page, or email us. We confirm by email when it is done.
Turn off analytics. Settings → Privacy.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, or export your data, and to object to processing. Email us and we will honour it — we do not ask which country you are in first.
8 Children
Healthy Faith is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
9 Spiritual and emotional content
Healthy Faith includes guided paths for hard seasons, and the app can show crisis resources when it detects distress in something you write or ask. That detection runs to keep you safe. It is never used for advertising, recommendations, or personalization, and it is covered by the deletion options above.
The app is not counselling, therapy, or medical care, and nothing in it is a substitute for a professional or for your church.
10 Changes
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and its date. Material changes — anything that means we start collecting something we did not collect before — will be announced in the app before they take effect.
